Résumé

This experimental study aims to find out the comparison of two training methods for triple jump skills. The training method consists of two methods namely plyometrics and weight training methods. This research also aims to find out the interaction between training methods and coordination of triple jump skills. Coordination consists of both high and low trunk flexibility. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Manado State University. This experimental research using factorial design bay level 2x2. The sample of 40 students was taken from the population of 80 students using a purposive sampling method. Sample then divided into four groups that consist of 10 students each.
The analyzing techniques of data implementing two-way analyzes of variance (ANOVA) and further continued by Tukey Test α = 0.05 level of significance. The results of this research show that: (1) in general the triple jump skills by using plyo metrics training methods are better than by using weight training methods. (2) there is interaction between training method and coordination toward triple jump skills; (3) for high coordination using plyometrics training methods is better than using weight training methods; (4) for low
coordination using weight training methods is better than using plyometrics training methods.
